Groups and Workshops
Sometimes individual issues get in the way of making progress in couples therapy, and doing some intense personal work can really help make movement.
Additionally, our groups can provide you with a strong sense of support and community as you heal.
Admission in all groups is dependent upon availability and group fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Group therapy is an ongoing, small group experience that focuses on emotional support, skill-building, and shared experiences over multiple sessions. Workshops are usually time-limited events that teach specific tools or ideas, such as communication skills, in a more structured, educational format.
Group support allows you to learn practical skills, feel less alone by hearing from others with similar struggles, and get guidance from a trained therapist. Many people find that combining groups or workshops with individual or couples counseling enriches their understanding of themselves, and offers a different way of engaging in their struggles for a more comprehensive approach to their healing.
It’s totally normal to feel nervous at first, and you are encouraged to participate at a pace that feels manageable. Many people start by simply listening, and naturally begin to share more as they get more comfortable within the safety and support of the group structure. In our experience, you’ll have the best experience in groups when you come prepared to be vulnerable in a safe and structured environment.
